Learn the rules before chasing a time
Start with the Beginner board and learn what each number counts before trying to move faster. A number includes all covered neighbors, including diagonals. Opening a zero reveals a connected safe area and gives you several clues to work from.
Connect clues instead of guessing patterns
Nearby numbers often point to some of the same covered squares. Compare those shared neighbors, account for mines you have already confirmed, and use the remaining clues together. Pattern guides are useful when the board shape matches; the exact covered squares still matter.
Practice with a shared daily board
Classic mode creates a fresh board whenever you want to play. Daily Challenge gives every player the same seeded layout for each difficulty on that UTC date, so you can compare a clear on equal terms. The controls support mouse, keyboard, and touch.
